Privacy Policy

Just Keep Going has no accounts, no sign-up and no advertising. You are never asked for your email, your phone number or your real name. Most of what the app knows about you never leaves your phone.

What stays on your phone

All of the following is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted anywhere:

• The first name you enter during setup
• Your written notes and reflections
• Your saved mantras and your streak
• Your reminder time and notification preference

If you delete the app, this is deleted with it. We keep no copy, because we never had one.

What is sent when a mantra is generated

To write a mantra for you, the app sends a request to our server, which passes it to Google's Gemini API. That request contains only:

• A random identifier the app generates for itself on first launch — not your Apple ID, not your device's serial number, not an advertising identifier, and not connected to your identity in any way
• Your answers to the setup questions: disposition, tone preference, recent mood, what is driving it, what you want to work on, and what gets in your way
• The text of mantras you kept, so new ones match what resonated
• The text of mantras you rejected, so new ones avoid what did not
• Recent mantras already in your collection, so you are not sent the same thing twice

Your notes are not included. Your name is not included.

Who processes it

• Cloudflare Workers hosts the small service that relays the request. It does not store the contents of your requests. Cloudflare keeps standard operational logs, including IP addresses, as any web service does.
• Google (Gemini API) generates the mantra text and handles the request under its API terms.

We do not sell data, share it with advertisers or brokers, or use it to build a profile of you. There is nothing to sell: the requests are not tied to a person.

The random identifier

The app generates a random string on first launch and sends it with each request. Its only purpose is rate limiting — stopping a single device from making thousands of requests. It is not derived from your hardware and cannot be traced back to you. Resetting the app from Settings creates a new one.

Analytics and tracking

There are none. The app contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporting service, no advertising network and no tracking of any kind. Nothing follows you to other apps or websites.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily mantra notification, it is scheduled locally on your phone by iOS. No push server is involved and no notification token is sent anywhere. You can turn it off in the app's Settings or in your phone's Settings at any time.

Deleting your data

Open Settings in the app and choose Reset app. That permanently deletes your profile, saved mantras, notes and streak from your phone. Deleting the app does the same. Since we hold no account and store no copy, there is nothing else to request deletion of.

Children

Just Keep Going is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is sent or who processes it, the effective date above will change and the updated policy will be posted here.
